My Feedback:

Whovo! Haykin’s Dabinett has a beautiful rich nose that is fruity and buttery with a tinge of acidity. It is unique in that the sharpness doesn’t seem to kick in until the second phase which is followed by a finish which has beautiful drying characteristics. Those tannins take it to a delightful, better place without being too heavy or abrasive. They just add lovely complexity and depth to the drink—though they may cause you to rub your rough tasting tongue over your lips. I don’t know that I can sense all the flavors the description suggested it would evoke, but the dry and tannic essence of this cider does force one to yield and take notice that it is an outstanding dry cider with enough sweetness and tartness fruit to enliven it. But the dry tannic finish takes the show without being heavy, overly complex or acidic. Think light and dry with a coy character.
