Austin Eastciders
Grade: 78 C+
That’s a pretty healthy acidic nose! Not particularly pleasant. Whoa this is really tart and surprisingly dry(ish). It has a pretty thin mouthfeel, but it definitely leaves tart notes on your tongue. A little fruit flavor pops out in the second phase, but it does not stick around for very long. There is also bit of an alcohol taste even though it is only 5% ABV, and a not a very noticeable finish. It is fine, but I am not really feeling this. It may be my least favorite Austin Eastcider, which I typically enjoy. Again, not bad, but I’m not going back for seconds this Thanksgiving.
Just in time for the fall, our new Limited Release Cranberry Cider will help ring in that much needed cooler weather. This cider uses a blend of bittersweet apples and real cranberry juice for a tart yet light and refreshing beverage. Enjoy on its own or as a base for a holiday punch.
