Schilling Hard Cider
Grade: 89 B+
A brilliant sunset burnt peach rosé color. It has an uber rich and smooth nose that smells likes a blend of wine and apples. This is impressive, but cider drinkers beware as this is a liqueur which is closer to an apple Grand Marnier or port wine than it is to a draft cider, and it is certainly not for easy drinking. It is very thick and could be drunk straight for a sophisticated night in by oneself, but it is also ready to be mixed into a cocktail for entertaining. Obviously, it has the high alcohol content, but it is very balanced and smooth for a drink of this type. This is taking your cider drinking to a more mature level.
